World Champion surfers go surfing in Hurricane Sandy, that’s who!
While some boarded up windows others boarded down waves.
This video posted on Grind.TV shows surfers Cory Lopes, Evan Geiselman, Chris Ward, Oliver Kurtz and Pete Mendia surfing Hurricane Sandy generated waves at Palm Beach, Florida. The wave isn’t usually fifteen foot and cranking so it’s sure to be remembered by locals as the surf session of a lifetime.
The photograph (above) of Mendia surfing Hurricane Sandy waves shows him cruising deep inside the Palm Beach pit. The image was shot by Jeff Biege who commented;
“I don’t ever recall seeing waves this good around here,” he said. “And to have some of the world’s best surfers there too was just incredible.”
